This Thursday, I attended a sneak preview of the upcoming Julie & Julia, a cute story about the author of one of the world’s most popular cookbooks, Julia Child, and an underpaid and overworked bureacrat, Julie Powell, who vows to work through all 524 recipes over the course of a year, blogging about the results along the way. This movie had some very funny moments, but the story flowed seamlessly to the really dramatic issues at hand. As always, Meryl Streep steals the show. A must-see for all food lovers.
